what i want for christmas: 6 days too late
when i was younger, my sister and i watched friday the 13th the series. every.single.week.
i should have thought to ask for the complete series on dvd.
i used to think micki’s hair was the coolest. and was totally smitten with ryan.
i don't read chick lit (or teen/romance...
i love to read but haven’t made myself do it for quite some time.
sis bought me twilight for christmas.
i am infatuated with edward—well, his character. and i saw the movie. and i hated it.
lesson learned: if it is in print, get it there.

i have been following this little ladybug for only a few days, but oh my, she is the cutest little thing! i love her name, too! and nutella is a dollop of heaven no matter where it lands (bagel, bread or tartine!)

the grass is not greener...
for almost five months, i have slept with my little eliza in my bed. our bed. cjm and i have adjusted quite well to our little snuggler snoozing between us.
she fell asleep in her bassinet last night while cjm and i were cleaning.
an hour or so later, he fell asleep in the bed, so i left her in the bassinet. and i went to bed, too.
we awoke this morning to that stinking alarm clock. not...
i am so going home and watching this tonight, M!

the spirit of Christmas?
cjm and i traveled to Oriental this weekend with Caroline. we joined his family for a fun, festive weekend of christmas cheer. i can totally see this becoming a tradition for us. it’s been in their family for years, but this is is the first year we were able to attend and it was all i could have asked for.
mix a little chill in the air with some gleefully decorated sail boats, jolly...

i lay her in it after her bath and let her wallow in its squwooshy warmth. she giggles and cackles and i am pretty sure if she could talk she would ask me to let her do this every night.

last night, well…this morning (about 4 am to be exact) caroline wakes up and starts to cry. the first thing i thought was “i bet she’s hungry” so i gently picked her up and held her close to me. she immediately quieted down and laid her head on my shoulder and went back to sleep.
