a little sunshine for my sunshine.
chris and caroline took off this morning to spend the day at the lake. caroline has been gallavanting with her mimi while chris helps get a little work done with granddaddy.
i have been knitting a worm all afternoon at the thought of going home with them not being there….this is a first for me. if caroline is staying with her mimi and grandaddy, it usually means chris and i are somewhere...

i just scored the dress for our first family...
i already have the outfits picked out for the girls. (sometimes i have type A tendencies)
my sister in law, Sara bought this dress a few months ago and I have drooled over it….but thanks to the pregnant boobies, her size small was never going to happen (cause you know she would let me borrow it if i asked!)
then this morning, after seeing this post on this cute blog, i started to browse...
Except puppies are a little easier to potty...
CJM calls me yesterday afternoon. He is on his way to pick up Caroline. He is rather chipper. Given the horrible day he had, I was a little taken aback by his uppity-ness.
I asked him what had gotten him out of his funk. The conversation went like this:
me: i am glad you are in a better mood. cjm: of course i am, i am going to get my munchkin! me: yeah, she is a sweetie. she always makes my day...
ok. i'm gonna cave and just post one.
and this is only because i have been playing this afternoon…and i have been putting Caroline’s 29 week scan against Miss MegaMyers at 30 weeks.
so these are our girls.
the left is Miss MM and the right is Caroline Eliza.
it looks like baby sister has some plump little kissers. but after spending too much time comparing the two, i think it is pretty safe to say this: the Myers house...
we had a scare this week.
Camden (my sister’s oldest little man) had a seizure early monday morning.
i got the call around 6 am, but it happened a little after two.
this was scary for many reasons, but mainly due to this being the very thing that took our precious Sydney from us. (well, the seizures and the pneumonia that settled in her little lungs)
my poor sister is a brick wall of strength. she and Scott...
we had our 4D ultrasound/30 wk. checkup today.
all i am going to say is this:
Miss MegaMyers must be aspiring to be a gymnast, as her foot was on her forehead.
She looks just.like.Caroline…so apparently the Myers gene pool won out over the Norris gene pool. and I am perfectly ok with that.
She has a head full of hair. At 30 weeks, she already has a mohawk.
I want to post pictures of her, but I am just a tad bit icky about my uterus...

chris calls this morning shortly after i get to work to tell me about the way our daughter woke him up.
he said he awoke to chubby little hands slapping his cheek.
‘daddy, wake up! you snore too loud.’
of course this was hilarious to me for two reasons:
he really does snore like a freight train
she snores like a little caboose
this co sleeping thing is really more for us than for...

i need some stupid in my life right now, so tonight will consist of left over baked spaghetti, a big glass of milk and a weekly dose of guido.
i am gettin' antsy.
we (hopefully) have a little over 10 weeks before Miss MegaMyers gets here.
it’s starting to really set in that our little family of three is growing by two feet. the routine will change. the dynamic of this daily life of the Myers clan is about to change..significantly…..and it scares me.
Caroline is so excited about being a big sister, but i know she has no idea what that entails....

the small window for getting christmas pictures taken this year seemed to have closed before it even opened, so i hurriedly took caroline to a local place to have her pictures made. although i think she is extremely photogenic, i am not a fan of...
29 and a half weeks. and an update.
while it feels like i am growing a child the size of a clown car, Miss MegaMyers is only about the size of a butternut squash. she is extremely active at night (just like Caroline was) and lurves anything sweet.
i am almost to the stage in the pregnancy where i refuse to step in front of a camera, so i guess i need to get some maternity pictures made asap. and they will be realllllly vanilla. i...
