this is why i’ve been away from you guys…..
My world is completely engulfed by these two blue eyed babies.
Well, Caroline is a not a baby anymore. She’s my little girl. She’s growing up a lot faster than I want her to and honestly, I am not dealing well. She will be three in less than two weeks. Three.Years.Old. Wrapping my head around that fact has been difficult. But it’s also such a rewarding feeling to be able to have a full on conversation with my little girl. She can tell me what she wants, what makes her happy, where she hurts, and the best part? Hearing her say ‘Momma. I love you.’ Chris and I still find ourselves staring at her in amazement at the little person she is becoming. She’s a hot, sassy mess.
Claire is getting big. She will be four months old next week. YIKES! She’s already a chatterbox. I get the silly giggles at the way she coos and goo goos at the TV. When she sees her daddy, she immediately starts flirting. It’s the cutest thing in the world. She’s only got one dimple, but when that child smiles, it consumes her entire face. It’s infectious. She’s been a challenge. She’s not been the easiest baby to get adjusted to, but her smile can make any bad energy in my body diminish in an instant. When I say she has been a challenge, I mean it in every sense of the word. That’s another story. And it’s one I want to share with you guys. I am working on that post.
So, in the meantime, I will leave you with these smiles and I will be posting more regularly, I swear.
