And then, she was 3.

Caroline is now a 3 year old. THREE.

Just last week, I got corrected by Chris when I referred to her as a toddler. “Anita, she’s a little girl now.” blegh. whatever.

For her third birthday, we decided to have a joint party with my nephew Cade at Mimi’s house at the lake. We had a pool party with a sock monkey theme. It turned out great and between the two of them, there was a small haul of presents to carry home.

The birthday boy and girl.

Big balloons for the 2 and 3 yr olds. and a whole lotta presents!

Each had their own cake and we did twizzlers, tootsie pops, sixlets and gumballs for goodie bags.

Hot dogs with all the fixins, cupcakes and the best punch in the world.

Claire had her eye on the cupcakes and the balloons. Mimi kept her reigned in :)

This is the present Caroline waited all night to open…..her Woody doll. (Toy Story) She had no idea her daddy had bought her something she would like even better…..

Chris bought this (and clearly wrapped it) all by himself.

Yeah, her very own John Deer Gator. My poor flower beds are suffering, as you can imagine. I would have preferred it in pink, myself…but she didn’t seem to mind.

Cade got a four wheeler! The two of them were precious with their new toys!

AJ and Colten provided entertainment (and made goo goo eyes at Claire)

Caroline shared her new Tinkerbell coloring sheets with the boys.

And Uncle Patrick.

Fun was had by all. Another year in the books for our sweet Caroline. Happy Birthday, baby girl.
